TEST MODES AND TROUBLESHOOTING: The Plotter Does Not Operate Correctly

When data is sent to the
plotter, the pen carriage
moves and the PROMPT
lamp lights.
Data outside the effective
plotting area has been
received, or the step size
settings (GP-GL mode)
do not match.
Change the application
software data so that the
data fits within the
effective area.

SIZE
When data is sent to the
plotter, the pen carriage
does not move, but the
PROMPT lamp lights.
Origin point might be set
at the lower left although
the plot data was created
based on a center origin.
(only when the command
setting is HP-GL.)
Set the application
software's origin point to
either the lower left point
or the center.
6.3 Setting the ORIGIN in
HP-GL Mode
Cutting was performed
with the ORIGIN point
moved to the CENTER.

at the center although the
plot data was created
based on a center origin.

Set the application
software's origin point to
either the lower left point
or the center.

Check that media type
specified is Sheet, Roll 1
Rear Set or Roll 2 Rear
Set.
