7.8.1 Setting Program Cross-Connection using the Connection Wizard
To set a cross-connection by using the Connection Wizard:
1. Click Connection Wizard on the EMS toolbar.
2. Select Input Program to Output Port and click Next.
A list of multiplex inputs available for selection displays.
3. Select an Input Multiplex Port and click Next>>.
A list of programs available at the selected input displays.
4. Select an input program port and click Next>>.
A list of multiplex outputs available for selection displays.
5. Select an Output Multiplex and click Next>>.
The Cross-Connect Editor dialog displays.
6. Set the required parameters:
Enabled – Defines the operational status of the program.
Input – Displays the name of the input physical port which receives the stream and
the number of the multiplex program.
Output – Displays the name of the output physical port where the stream is routed
and the number of the multiplexed program routed to the port. You can configure a
new PID Offset.
Descrambling – Enables descrambling the program and selects the CAM used for the
descrambling.
7. Click Create to create the program cross-connect.
