Introduction
Improper use
■ The combination of natural and forced circulated air results in low
drying-out rates of the cultur
es, high temperature consistency and
precise temperature distribution. Therefore, the incubator is suit-
able for incubating human pathogens, which
– require a characteristic optimum temperature (campylobacter
jejuni or coli at 42°C, e.g.: of clostridium difcile at 36°C).
– require long-term cultures (mycobacterium tuberculosis at
36°C / up to 8 weeks).
■ Also the incubation tasks of similar materials and samples with
equally high demands ar
e possible.
■ The incubator is only intended for this purpose.
■ Another use or one which goes beyond this, is considered to be
non-intended. The company Andr

not liable for damage resulting from this.
■ Observing all information in the operating instructions and com-
plying with the measur
es described therein is also a part of the
intended use.

■ Using the incubator or its accessories as a climbing aid.
■ Operation outdoors.
■ Use on moving subsurfaces, e.g. ships, rail transport or airplanes.
■ Stacks of impermissible incubator sizes and stacks without xa-
tion (allowed is a stack of a total of two incubators of size
200/200 R.).
■ The incubator in the standard conguration is not intended to be
used in continuous cooling operation.
1.6 Replacement parts/consumable material
Only original spar
e parts and original accessories approved by the
manufacturer may be used.

If no original spare parts or original accessories are
used, the warranty as well as liability claims against
the company Andr
eas Hettich GmbH & Co. KG are
void.
