6.13.19 Service dashboard
Personnel:
■ Service technician
This menu is only accessible to service technicians
and is password-protected.
The service dashboard is how service technicians access your incu-
bator. On the service dashboard, additional settings can be parame-
trized, software updates can be installed or the incubator can be
reset to the factory settings.
6.14 Heat compensation
The heat output of external devices in the interior of a cooled incu-
bator will be compensated.
The use of external devices inside the incubator only
makes sense for incubators with cooling units, since
these can compensate for the additional heat output.
If such applications or external devices are used in
incubators without cooling units, excessive heat can
quickly develop which the incubator cannot compen-
sate for. The sample material might be negatively
inuenced by the excessive temperature. Long-term
excessive temperatures can damage the incubator.
When using external devices in the interior (e.g., via
the access port), make sure that the technical values
relating to the heat compensation are observed
(max. 400 Watt at an ambient temperature of 22 °C,
or 300 W at an ambient temperature of 35 °C). The
specied compensation power only refers to incuba-
tors with cooling units. If the incubator is switched off
or fails, the external devices in the interior must be
switched off immediately in order not to damage the
incubator.
