DIASSEMBLING THE STEERING MACHINE
PART
1. Check:
• pressure pad ①
• dust boots ②
Wear/damage
Replace.
Damage/degradation
Replace
1NOTE:
When replace the dust boots of the ball ,
must enter 1/2 volume in lithium grease in
to the dust boots.
2. Check:
• tie-rod end ①
• turning ②
• rocky ledge ③
Free play Replace the tie-rod end.
Turns roughly Replace the tie-rod end.
3. Check:
• tie-rods
Bends/damage
Replace.
4. Check:
·steering joint
Crack/distortion
Replace.
5. Check:
·drive gear
·spline gear the drive of the gear whether agile.
If it is not agile, dismantle the direction
machine to see the drive gear and spline gear
whether have wear, instead the parts
according to the inspection.
