Configuring the integration
Prerequisites
• You need a license to use the SQL Server ZDB integration. See the HP Data
Protector installation and licensing guide for information.
• Ensure that you correctly installed and configured SQL Server.
• For supported versions, platforms, devices, and other information, see the
latest support matrices at http://www.hp.com/support/manuals.
• For information on installing, configuring, and using SQL Server, see the SQL
Server documentation.
• Ensure that you correctly installed Data Protector. For information on installing
Data Protector in various architectures and installing a Data Protector disk array
integration (EMC, XP, VA, or EVA) with SQL Server, see the HP Data Protector
installation and licensing guide.
