8. Select the devices. Click Properties to set the media pool and preallocation
policy. The device concurrency is set to 1 and cannot be changed. For more
information on options, press F1.
To create additional backup copies (mirrors), specify the desired number by
clicking Add mirror/Remove mirror. Select separate devices for each mirror.
The minimum number of devices for mirroring equals the number of devices used
for backup.
For more information on object mirroring, see the online Help.
NOTE:
Object mirroring is not supported for ZDB to disk.
Click Next.
9. Select backup options.
For information on Backup Specification Options and Common Application
Options, see the online Help.
For information on Application Specific Option, see “SQL Server Specific Backup
Options” on page 263.
Click Next.
10. Optionally, schedule the backup. For information on scheduler, press F1.
Note that only Full backup is performed.
11. Save the backup specification, specifying a name and backup specification
group. You start the backup specification by clicking Start Backup.
