c. Choose Information > Overview, and view the server health status, as shown in
Figure 4-20.

d. Clear any alarms if present. For details, see the TaiShan Rack Server iBMC Alarm
Handling.
l Check the TaiShan 2280 V2 using the iBMC CLI.
a. Set an IP address for the PC. This IP address must be on the same network segment
as the iBMC management network port.
b. Connect a network cable from the PC to the iBMC management network port of the
TaiShan 2280 V2.
c. Start a Secure Shell (SSH, PuTTY), tool on the PC and log in with the IP address of
the iBMC management network port and iBMC user name and password.
NOTE
The SSH service is enabled by default. If the SSH service is disabled, enable it by choosing
Configuration > Services on the iBMC WebUI.
d. View the TaiShan 2280 V2 version information.
Check that the TaiShan 2280 V2 versions meet site requirements.
