To help you get started, the Configuration file that
is
installed with
VM/PC
contains a sample user name and
other needed information.
If
you wish, you can use this
Configuration file to become familiar with
VM/PC.
If
so,
you can go to Chapter 4 now and postpone reading the rest
of this chapter until you feel the need to modify the
Configuration file.
Since the Configuration file
is
so important to
VM/PC,
the
information in the Configuration file must be accurate and
consistent.
For
the same reason, when several users are
using the same system it may be necessary to allow only one
person to see or to change the Configuration file. To help
ensure both the accuracy of Configuration file data and to
prevent uncontrolled access to that data,
VM/PC
supplies
you with the Configurator program.
