dvcadrl
as
dvcadr2
Usage Notes:
1.
When you alter the virtual machine configuration with
the
DEFINE
command, the changes are temporary and
are in effect for the current terminal session only. The
configura tor must be used
to
make permanent alteration
to the user's configuration.
2. The maximum amount
of
virtual storage
that
can
be
defined
is
4M.
3.
If
a
DEFINE
STORAGE
is
requested
and
sufficient
DASD space is
not
available, the virtual storage will
be
defined as large as possible, and the response will
indicate how much is available.
4.
If
the virtual machine printer type
(1403/3800)
is
changed and a spool file
is
currently open, the spool file
will be closed.

These responses will not appear if you have issued
the
CP
SET IMSG
OFF
command.
Use the
DETACH
command
to
remove a device from the
virtual machine configuration. The format
