Function Menu
Quitting the Configurator
The Configurator program does not actually update the
Configuration file until you have made all your changes
AND then told it specifically to do so. This means that you
can decide you want to quit at any time without applying the
changes you have entered.
If
you do decide that you don't
want to keep the changes you have entered, simply select the
"Quit"
function from the menu. You will
then
exit the
Configurator and the Configuration file will remain
unchanged. This includes any password changes you may
have made.
Normal
Exit
from the Configurator
The
"End"
function
is
the normal exit from the
Configurator.
Use of this function will cause all the changes
you have made since starting the Configurator
to
be
stored
on
the Configuration file. First, the Configurator will
perform any required file allocations for minidisks, giving
you a chance to approve.or cancel each allocation. After
that, the Configurator writes the file and returns control to
DOS, which will present its usual prompt.
