Options
The CO
2
content in the incubation chamber is measured and regu-
lated using a CO
2
sensor. This is mounted on the right side of the
back wall of the incubation chamber.
4.3.2 Connection Conditions
The in-house gas supply and connecting hose must meet the fol-
lowing requirements:
Gas supply
Constant input pressure not exceeding 0.5 bar (± 0.1)
Only use clean, dry, oil and dust free gas.
Hoses
Use only pressure-resistant and intact hoses.
The hose must have an appropriate diameter; an adapter may
be used, if necessary.
Secure hoses using appropriate clamps.
4.3.3 Operating the CO
2
Control
The CO
2
control is operated using the CO
2
parameter. The top al-
phanumeric display shows the actual value in % with the symbol
CO
2
. To prevent large amounts of CO
2
from escaping, the CO
2
control is deactivated automatically while the door is open.
For a detailed description of how to set and activate the parame-
ters, see chapter 7.4 "Adjusting, Activating and Deactivating Pa-
rameters", page 81.
4.3.4 Specifications and Technical Data
For a detailed description of the technical data and possible CO
2
values, see chapter 12.4.4 "CO
2
Control", page 138.
