3 How to Use the Fax Function
3.1 Transmission procedure
This section explains how to send a fax.
This machine supports the G3 fax function. Its sending and receiving are applicable only to G3-base remote
machines.
1 Press the Fax key.
This changes to the fax mode and displays the fax screen.
2 Load the original.
% For details on how to load the original, refer to page 3-5.
3 Specify a desired option for [QUALITY].
% For details on [QUALITY], refer to page 3-7.
4 Enter a destination fax number.
% For details on how to specify a destination, refer to page 3-8.
5 Press the Start key.
% This starts scanning and sending if the original has been loaded onto the ADF.
After sending is completed, a "long beep" sounds.
% To stop sending, press the Clear/Stop key, and select [YES] in the displayed screen.
% If you load the original on the Original Glass, go to step 6.
