7.4.3.6 Installing and connecting the field bus module
The field bus modules are available as plug-in modules in the following variants:
▪ Modbus RTU module
▪ Profibus DP module
▪ LON module
The field bus modules have the following properties:
▪ Can be retrofitted
▪ Internal T-connector (bus looped through) [uninterruptible even in the event of a
frequency inverter power failure]
▪ Pre-configured cables (ðSection12.2,Page197)
▪ Connector for self assembly (ðSection12.2,Page197)
Installing the field bus module
The field bus module can be fitted in an available slot of the frequency inverter.
