NOTE: If you only need to replace the sliding shoe (see Figure 3-146), all you have to do is remove the
exterior guide and 2 wear pads (one from each rail section).

11. Proceed with the installation of the new wear pads and sliding shoe. To do so:
11 a. Insert 1 bolt into hole in both lower and upper sections of the rail for easy wear pad
installation.
11 b. Install 2 wear pads in both upper and lower sections of the rail (the shorter ones to be
placed in lower section).
