Selecting pictures to play back

Allows selecting the pictures to be displayed with set filters, such as recording dates,
categories, or favorite pictures.
Select [Filtering Play] from the [Playback Mode] menu (→145)
Select the filtering method using the cursor buttons, and then
press [MENU/SET]
[Picture Only] Plays back only still pictures. (→147)
[Video Only] Plays back only motion pictures. (→147)
[3D Play] Plays back only 3D still pictures. (→147)
[Category
Selection]
Plays back pictures that have been selected according to a category, such
as Scene mode. (→148)
[Select Date] Plays back only the pictures taken on the selected date. (→149)
[Favorite] Plays back only the pictures set as [Favorite]. (→149)

About operations during [Filtering Play]
During [Filtering Play], the operation when is pressed in the 1-picture Playback
screen is different. Select the operation you want to perform and press [MENU/SET].
• [Retouch]: Retouching pictures (→153)
• [Burst Play]: Plays back only serially exposed pictures, one after another (→143)
• [Play Video]: Plays back only motion pictures (→48)
• [Play Panorama]: Plays back panorama pictures (→107)
• [Change Date]: Changes the recording date to display (→149)
• [Filtering Off]: Switches Playback mode to [All] (→145)

Canceling filtering
During [Filtering Play], only pictures under the set filters are displayed.
In the following cases, filtering will be canceled.
• When is pressed in the 1-picture Playback screen and [Filtering Off] is selected
• When [All] is selected from the [Playback Mode] menu
• When switching to Recording mode
• When the camera is turned off
