9. TROUBLESHOOTING
9.1 The Milk is moving up and down in the Milk Tube
Note:
This situation occurs when the bleed holes in the teat cups are clogged. The
resulting vacuum obstructs the milk flow to the milk jar. It looks like the milk
is moving up and down in the milk tube.
1. Clean the Bleed Holes (page 7-18).
9.2 No Milk Flow in one of the Teat Cups and Twin Tubes
If there is no milk flow and the milk quarter is not empty, there may be
a leakage in the system or the pulsation system does not function
correctly.
1. Make sure the teat cup liners are not damaged (page 7-28).
2. Make sure the twin tubes are not leaking (page 7-36).
3. If the problem remains, call your local Lely service provider.
9.3 The Milk Jar is not emptied after milking
If the milk jar is not emptied after milking a cow:
• The butterfly valve may still be closed.
• The milk pump may not function correctly.
• The 3-way valves on the milking robot or on the milk tank may be
not function correctly.
• The separation settings in T4C may be not correct.
• The milk line may be blocked, probably due to a defect milk filter.
1. Replace the milk filter (page 7-40).
2. If the problem remains, call your local Lely service provider.
9.4 Cleaning Brushes are dirty after Brush cleaning
1. Make sure the brushes are turning during brush cleaning.
1. If the brushes are not turning, remove dirt and hair.
2. If the brushes are still not turning, call your local Lely service
provider.
2. Make sure cleaning liquid is sprayed on the brushes during brush
cleaning.
1. If no liquid is sprayed on the brushes during brush cleaning,
call your Lely service provider.
