10.2.5 Check for broken magnets on the knife unit.

Check for broken magnets
on the knives in the drop
floor. Replace if necessary.
10.2.6 Ensure all oiler pipes to the chains & grease pipes
to the bearing are not damaged
Oiler Pipes
Oil pipe check
The photos illustrate the oil pipes going to
the pick up, however all oil pipes should
be checked.
These included
 Oil pipes to the pick up.
 Oil pipes to the main drive chains.
 Oil pipe to the rotor.
 Oil pipe to the cam track.
Grease pipe check
All grease pipes should be visually
inspected for damage.
These include:
 Grease pipes to the drive and non
drive side of the bale chamber.
 Grease pipes to the rotor bearings.
 Grease pipes to the pick up spur
gears.
If any of the pipes are damaged they
should be replaced.
