7.13 PTO Shaft adjustment
The length of the PTO shaft is suitable for all known tractor conditions. However,
before the machine is operated for the first time with a new tractor it must be
ensured that there is a minimum sliding clearance of 300 mm left during all angles
between the tractor and the machine. In case there is not sufficient sliding clearance
the shaft length must be adjusted according to the PTO shaft manufacturers
recommendations that are either attached to the PTO shaft or included with this
manual or both.
