12.12: Lubrication system
The Lubrication System on the Fusion 2 is a hydraulically operated pump, where
the pressure to activate the Chain oil side of the pump comes from the rear tip
hydraulic cylinders and the pressure for the Grease side comes from the C & H
accumulator.
On the Main Control box in ‘’MACHINE SET-UP 2’’ there is a ‘’LUBE DOSE’’
selection which allows you to select a dosage of between 1 & 8. The higher the
number the more oil that will be applied to the chains. e.g.; If 4 is selected then
the control box will pulse the tip section up 4 times during a cycle therefore
operating the oiler side of the pump 4 times.
