Cylinder Head Disassembly
1.
Loosen all of the valve adjusting locknuts and screws. Turn the valve adjusting screws out several turns.
a - Adjusting screw
b - Locknut
2. Use a lock‑ring pliers to remove the rocker shaft.
3.
Remove the springs, rocker arms, spacers, and washers.

e - Spacer (2)

4. Remove the camshaft. Be careful to not damage the decompression valves.
a - Decompression valves (2)
b - Remove the camshaft from the cylinder head
