4−2. Note on connection
Warning In case of connection with the instrument, keep strictly to the
following items. If neglected, it may cause an unexpected failure or a
damage to the instrument.
Set the power supply to OFF when connection is made.
Since the terminal board at the rear side of the instrument is made of resin, take care not
to drop it down nor apply strong impact.
Be sure to apply the attached acrylic cover located on the terminal board.
Recommended torque to tighten the terminal screw for terminal board is 0.8 Nm at
maximum.
The crimp−type terminal lugs for the terminal board of the instrument are to be applied
as follows:

Terminal board 1 7.2 mm or less 1.25−3.5 or Y type 1.25−3.5
Terminal board 2 7.2 mm or less 1.25−3.5 or Y type 1.25−3.5
Protective earth terminial 7.2 mm or less 1.25−3.5 or Y type 1.25−3.5
Optional terminal board 6.3 mm or less 1.25−3 or Y type 1.25−3
Connecting cable with the instrument should be away from the noise source such as power
supply line and I/O line for control as far as possible.
Conduit wiring should be the type of exclusive one, and avoid using with another line
together.
Since the A.G. terminal(Terminal No.24) is internal analog gland for the purpose of
maintenance, don’t connect with externals.
