7−5. Stabilizing filter
This instrument prepares Stabilizing filter that can filter through digital filter strongly when
variable width for load is within the constant value and also when the condition is frozen for more
than a constant period.
7−5−1.
What is Stabilizing filter?
When the variable width of load is within the set value by Function FUNC−09 and also when
the condition is frozen for more then the set period set with the FUNC−10, the digital filter for
stabilizing filter will become effective set with Function FUNC−09. That is, digital filter will be
applied only when the load is stable for more than a constant value, and then stabilizes stability.
7−5−2.
Setting related with Stabilizing filter
Set the data to be desired to apply Stabilizing filter with the Function FUNC−97.Stabilizing
filter width per set value “n” can be obtained through the display conversion by using the
following formula.
[ Stabilizing filter data width ]
[ Set value of FUNC−97 ] × [ Increment value for display ]
For example, when the setting of Function FUNC−97 is “000010” and Increment value for
display is “D = 5”, then
[ Stabilizing filter data width ] 10 × 5 50D
Data width supervisory time for Stabilizing filter can be set with Function FUNC−10.
Digital filter for Stabilizing filter can be set with Function FUNC−09.
Averaged−out times for digital filter for Stabilizing filter per set value “m”, can be
obtained by the following formula.
[ Stabilizing filter average−out times ] 2
m+1
For example, when the setting of Function FUNC−07 is “000003”,
[ Stabilizing filter times ] 2
3+1
16 (times)
Moreover, when digital filter has set with Function FUNC−04, averaged−out times will be
[ Stabilizing filter averaged−out times ] and Averaged−out times” with the Function
FUNC−04(Refer to the paragraph 7−3−1).
That is,
[ Averaged−out times]
[ Averaged−out times with FUNC−04 ] × [ Stabilizing filter average−out times ]
For example, setting for Function FUNC−04 will be “000003” and Function FUNC−09 will be
“000003” as well, it will be as follows:
[ Average−out times ] 2
3+1
× 2
3+1
16 × 16 256 [times]
