< Reference Specimen Roughness
Value Input screen >
Roughness value input field
[Enter]
The screen is ready to enter a numeric value in the Roughness
value input field.
TIP Displayed below the input field is the data
range (e.g. 0.01-999.9m) available for entry.
Touch the [2], [.], [9], and [5] buttons in this order.
The value displayed in the input field becomes “2.95”.
TIP The [BS] button deletes one digit each time it is
touched, while the [AC] button deletes all digits
at a time it is touched. This permits the deletion
of incorrect digits.
Confirm that the numeric value input is correct, then touch the
[Enter] button.
The inputted numeric value is loaded, and the Calibration
screen is restored.
NOTE The permissible range of data input is specific
to the data item concerned (e.g., arbitrary
evaluation length: 0.3 mm to 12.5 mm). The
[Enter] button will not load the input value if it is
out of the specified range.
TIP Touching the [ESC] button instead cancels the
input value and the Calibration screen is
restored, retaining the previous numeric value.
