The cash acceptor module (model UD-686) is located inside the safe
(security enclosure) of the terminal and contains the components
shown below. The cash acceptor is sometimes referred to as the cash
deposit module, personal cash deposit or the bunch note acceptor.
Note: The cash acceptor is available with long, mid or short infeed
transports depending on the terminal in which it is installed. Long
and mid infeed transports, which are very similar, are for rear
access terminals. The short infeed transport is designed for use in
front access terminals only.
