Clearing Jams in the Cheque Acceptor

4 Look at the module to see if you can find the exact location of
the jam. If not, refer to the error message on the operator panel
and then go to the relevant section indicated below. After all
jams are cleared, proceed to the steps in ‘Completing Jam
Clearance procedures’ to clear any error messages and close the
terminal.

1 If a cheque is jammed in the infeed transport (long infeed
shown), pull up the green latches on the top of the transport.
2 Fully pull up and hold the infeed transport.
