F.3 Checking Connection from Application Server
Perform the following steps to connect the application server and disk array in Linux environment.
F.3.1 Logon Steps in Linux Environment
1. Search for target.
2. Log on to target.
Log on to the target.
For details, refer to Section F.3.1: Logon Steps in Linux
Environment.
Confirm the that OS recognizes the logical disk.
For details, refer to Section F.3.2: Confirmation steps in
Linux Environment.
Check PathManager settings and status.
For details, refer to Section F.3.3: Check the
PathManager Settings and Status.
If PathManager will not be used, this step is not
necessary.
# iscsiadm –m discovery –t sendtargets –p <IP address of disk array>
(Example)# iscsiadm -m discovery -t sendtargets -p 192.168.10.64:3260
# iscsiadm –m node -T <iqn of disk array> -p <IP address of disk
array> -l
(Example)# iscsiadm –m node –T
iqn.2001-03.jp.nec:storage01:ist-m000-sn0000000938209213.
wn-0.target0000 -p 192.168.10.64:3260 -l
