The MG3000 can communicate with a PC using specic software, which is free
software for maintenance and conguration of the equipment, produced and dis-
tributed by Nice Brazil, or access control software, produced and distributed by
integrating partners (contact us). For such a connection, one of the available
means of communication can be used, being those the ethernet cable TCP/IP or
Serial RS232. Before installing any software, read the compatibility details and
check that it is compatible with the current MG3000 Firmware version.
It is necessary to have previously installed free software or access control sof-
tware on the computer.
According to the existing standard, it is recommended to use serial cables up to
15 meters. For distances above 15 meters, it is recommended to use communi-
cation via TCP/IP. If necessary, reduce the baud rate from 19200 to 9600 bps.
