Press the “YES” option to start the receiver update routine. The procedure may
take a few minutes depending on the number of registered devices.
Wait until the message “Update successful” is displayed. Then, the message
“AUTOMATIC BACKUP” is displayed with a 5-second countdown. It is advised to
always “CONFIRM” or let the backup to be carried out automatically, in order to
keep a copy in the internal database SD card.
The message “Please wait... Automatic backup” is displayed, indicating that all
MG3000 data is being backed up to the internal SD CARD. The data contained in
this backup can be used for recovery, in case of damage to the internal memory
(EEPROM).
