It is possible to adjust the delay time in the activation of the panic relay through
the option “RELAY TIME”, used for integration with local or remote alarm centers
(through dialers), sirens or lamps (use external relay of the Terminal Block Mo-
dule). The time to activate the relay signal can vary from 1 to 30 seconds after
pressing the panic button on the control, a time necessary for the doorman to
recognize an erroneous (involuntary) command from the resident. In this case,
press the “PANIC” button on the MG3000 screen, which is highlighted in red at
the top. Panic can also be dened as “Silent”, just check the option “Silent alarm”,
suppressing the audible alert.
The option “RELAY RESET TIME” can help, for example, in cases where the
MG3000 is not monitored by an operator, resetting the trigger automatically af-
ter the time dened for this parameter has elapsed (from 1 to 255s). When the
automatic reset occurs, the display of the panic message on the MG3000 dis-
play will be canceled and the panic relay (from the Terminal Block Module) will
return to the standby status. To change the settings of the panic button, access
the option “PANIC”, set the desired parameters and press “Save” to conrm the
programming.
