Units: Determines the unit of measure and may be preset depending on the
standard chosen. FS-209E or Average allow the choice of feet or meters.
ISO-14644-1, EC-GMP, and BS-5295 standards force the use of meters.
+1, +2, +3... Auto Increment. When this check box is filled, the Lasair II
particle counter automatically changes the location when sampling at one location
is complete. This option can be changed while the statistics mode is enabled.
Sample Acknowledge When this check box is filled, the Lasair II particle counter
prompts for an acknowledgement after each sample. This option can be changed
while the statistics mode is enabled.
ABC... or 1,2,3... Select ABC... or 1,2,3... ABC will select either location
names or location numbers. This option cannot be changed once statistics has been
enabled.
About Location Names or Numbers
During the statistical certification process, you will move the unit to different
locations for sampling. The particle counter allows you to choose one of the two
following options for identifying those locations.
auto-incrementing names/numbers
manual user selection of the location name (or number)
Your choice of numbering method will determine the settings you must make in the
Statistics Setup-Setup page.
Highly Recommended: If both 1,2,3 and Auto increment are selected, the Lasair
II particle counter automatically assigns a sequence of 3-digit numbers to each new
location sampled within this cleanroom.
