Pressing the softkey to the right of the icon causes the action that is represented by
the icon to be performed.
Back Panel Features — The back panel is comprised of the power connection,
the sampling outlet, and communications ports.
Power: either an optional battery or by 100–240 volt AC power. The provided
power cord will vary with location (US vs. non-US standards).
4–20 mA Input Port: Up to four more analog sensors can be connected through
the 420 mA port to provide additional environmental sensor information.
Analog sensors available from Particle Measuring Systems include: air velocity,
differential pressure, and T/RH sensors.
4–20 mA Output Port: Provides particle and status output as a 420 mA signal
with an optional daughter board.
HHIPA Port: HHIPA is hand-held isokinetic probe with an audible alarm.
HHIPA can be enabled to produce an audible “beep” when a particle is counted.
The Lasair II particle counter provides power to the HHIPA.
USB Port: The USB port supports either of the following functions:
