HHIPA
For users who prefer the beep mode to be controlled at the probe, the Hand-Held
Isokinetic Probe (Audible) (HHIPA) is a sampling probe with an LED activity
indicator and audible alarm.
The Lasair HHIPA model is:
The HHIPA has a thumbwheel selector switch which determines how many
particles are required for each flash of the LED indicator and beep of the audible
buzzer.
To set the selector switch:
1 If your instrument is the Lasair II particle counter, plug the DB connector from
the HHIPA into the Lasair II particle counters HHIPA connector.
2 If you are using any other instrument, plug the DB connector from the HHIPA
into the AUX connector on the back panel of the counter.
3 Connect the sample tube from the HHIPA to the particle counter's inlet jet.
The HHIPA functions off the Lasair II particle counters first channel
accumulative counts.
