4 Turn the instrument on and begin sampling with the HHIPA thumbwheel switch
set to “0”.
5 When a leak is found, adjust the thumbwheel switch until you can count the
number of flashes/beeps per second to get a rough idea of the severity of the
leak. To get the exact number, read the data system display or print the
information on the printer.
