Chapter 1: Getting Started
Attaching a USB keyboard for faster entry and editing of screens OR
Downloading a CSV file to a USB memory key/stick
Ethernet Port: A 10Base-T Ethernet port, marked ‘NET,’ is used to connect:
Directly to a computer
Into a network hub that communicates with a remote facility monitoring
system
RS-232 Port: The RS-232 port is used for calibration, sensor control, or
TouchRAM communications.
Each kind of connection requires its own cabling configuration.
Sample Outlet: Sampled air is discharged from the sample outlet after passing
through a HEPA filter.
NOTE:
Ensure that the sample outlet is not blocked. If it becomes
blocked, maintaining a standard airflow will become difficult. If the
airflow varies too much, the readings may not be valid.
