Chapter 5: Setup
Location Name Setup Screen
If you are moving the unit to different sampling locations, the Lasair II particle
counter lets you name those locations in the Location Name Setup Screen. Once
you have the locations named, you can select a location name to label the sampling
data.
Initially, no location names will appear in the list box on the left side of the screen.
Location names can be added individually, or locations numbered 1–100 can be
added automatically. The web browser option can also be used to download a file
of location names from a computer into the particle counter. See Chapter 7.
Location setup options are as follows:
Each setup option is represented by an icon and corresponding softkeys.
Refer to the list of icons in the “Editing Mode Functions” section, discussed
previously.
To access the Location Name Setup Screen:
1 Press the first softkey on the Main Display Screen. The Main Setup Screen
will be displayed.
2 Press the notebook softkey until the Location Sampling Setup Screen
opens.
• Select location name • Delete location name
• Edit location name • Erase all location names
• Add location name • Add locations numbered 1–100
