Appendix M: Touch RAM

Page M-10 Lasair II Particle Counter Operations Manual

• TouchRAM Adaptors – A set of adaptors that allow the cable on the end of the

wand to be plugged into the Lasair II particle counter’s RS-232 outlet. The cable

provides power to the TouchRAM wand and also carries data from the wand to

the Lasair II particle counter (or vice versa).

• 9-pin Null Modem (Commonly available at electronic equipment stores.)

• 9-pin Gender Changer (Commonly available at electronic equipment stores.)

• Universal, 1-wire, comport adaptor (Purchase from third-party vendor.)

This adaptor is available from:
