3.16 Anaesthetic gas scavenge system (AGSS)
The Penlon ASS recever (1) s suppled as an opton, and s
mounted on the sde of the machne
All sources of expred anaesthetc gases (eg drected from
the absorber APL valve, and the ventlator bellows patent gas
exhaust), are drected nternally to the outlet on the sde of the
machne A hose connects the outlet to the recever unt nlet
port
WARNIN
1 Do not connect any vacuum system drectly to the outlet
from the system
A recevng system, wth a postve and negatve
pressure control functon, must be used
2 Systems must comply wth ISO 80601-2-13
