5.7 Anaesthetic Gas Scavenge System
(AGSS)
WARNIN
1 Use an anaesthetc gas scavengng system that
comples wth ISO 80601-2-13
2 Read the nstructon manual suppled wth the gas
scavenge unt before nstallaton and clncal use
3 Do not connect any vacuum system drectly to the
outlet ports on the machne A recevng system wth
a postve and negatve pressure control functon
must be nterposed
Installaton - Penlon Anaesthetic Gas Scavenge
System
1 The anaesthetc gas recever (1) s fxed to the mountng
system bult nto the sde uprght (2) of the machne
2 onnect the followng sources of expred anaesthetc
gases to the Y-pece (3)
a) The ventlator exhaust port (4)
b) The absorber exhaust port (5)
3 The output hose connects to the anaesthetc gas
recever nlet (6)
4 The recever outlet hose (7) connects to the hosptal
anaesthetc exhaust gas dsposal system
5.8 Communication ports

ommuncatons ports should not be subected to voltages
greater than 7 VD
Damage to nternal crcutry may occur
