6.1 WARNINGS
WARNIN
Before you test and use ths equpment, make sure that you
have read ths user manual
If the system fals a test, do not use the equpment
The machne must be checked by a traned engneer
6.2 Electrical Power Supply
1 onnect the machne power lead (1) to a sutable mans
supply socket
Always use a mans power supply outlet socket that can
be easly accessed
heck that the mans ndcator lght (2) s ON
2 heck for correct functon of the auxlary power outlets
(3)
3 heck all electrcal equpment, ncludng devces powered
by the auxlary power outlets on the rear of the machne
Back-up battery test
1 Dsconnect the machne from the mans power supply
2 Verfy that the system contnues to operate on battery
power and fresh gas can be delvered
heck that the flow to the patent s ndcated on the total
flow tube (4)
3 heck that an A power fal alarm message s dsplayed
4 Reconnect the mans power supply
5 heck that the alarm message s cleared
6.3 Gas Supply
6.3.1 Patient Breathing System
6.3.1.1 Monitoring
The use of an oxygen montor (and a O analyser) s hghly
recommended when usng any rebreathng anaesthetc
system
6312 Breathing System Hose, Reservoir Bag, Ventilator
onnectors for the nspratory hose and expratory hose, and
the reservor bag connector are 22 mm male
All connectors comply wth ISO 5356/1
heck all connectons for gas tghtness
