Description
Bag mode
In bag mode only, the breathng bag acts as an addtonal over-
pressure protecton devce, preventng pressure exceedng 60
cmHO
WARNIN
If the absorber s not connected to the ventlator, care must
be taken to ensure that the bag/ventlator swtch s kept n
the ‘Bag’ poston
Ths wll ensure that the reservor bag s n the system, and
wll prevent gross loss of gas from the breathng system
3.10.1.7 Reservoir bag connector
The bag connector s a 22 mm male connector, complyng wth
BS EN ISO 5356/1
3.10.1.8 Bellows housing
The bellows housng (12) provdes an artght compartment for
the breathng system bellows

The absorber has two electrcally powered heater systems
a) Breathng system gas path ntegrated heat pad
b) Sprometer sensors heater elements
