Bag mode
In bag mode only, the breathng bag acts as an addtonal over-
pressure protecton devce, preventng pressure exceedng 60
cmHO

If the absorber s not connected to the ventlator, care must
be taken to ensure that the bag/ventlator swtch s kept n
the ‘Bag’ poston
Ths wll ensure that the reservor bag s n the system, and
wll prevent gross loss of gas from the breathng system
3.10.1.7 Reservoir bag connector
The bag connector s a 22 mm male connector, complyng wth

3.10.1.8 Bellows housing
The bellows housng (12) provdes an artght compartment for
the breathng system bellows

The absorber has two electrcally powered heater systems
a) Breathng system gas path ntegrated heat pad
b) Sprometer sensors heater elements
