Testing the salt water chlorinator power supply:
o Select the filtration to ON (the salt water chlorinator requires water flow for proper operation).
o Set the water supply valves as per the salt water chlorinator operating instructions.
o Navigate to the MANUAL CONTROL, AUXILIARIES menu
o Select the respective Aux to ON; the chlorinator must be powered.
o Select the Aux to OFF.
Refer to the salt water chlorinator instruction manual for correct settings and running time for the pool.
3.5.4.1.4 Other External Disinfection Equipment
PoolCop auxiliary relays may be used to control the electrical power supply to external water disinfection equipment such as UV,
Ozone, etc. Relays can also be used to control injection of chemicals (chlorine, etc.) using Timed Daily Control.
WARNING:
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and guidelines for correct usage and installation of the
equipment.
WARNING:
Carry out regularly water analysis to ensure correct and safe chemical levels.
CAUTION:
Ensure that the time programmed is during a filtration cycle to ensure that the equipment is powered to run
at a time that the filtration system is running.
