LOGARITHMIC - logarithmic output It is often useful to retransmit the vacuum or other
signal over a wide range, covering a dozen decades. In this case it is most convenient to
operate with the input signal logarithm. The range of limits is deined according to the
logarithmic relation:

𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑉𝑎𝑙𝑢𝑒 - current level of the input signal, e.g. pressure
𝑀𝑖𝑛/𝑀𝑎𝑥𝑉𝑎𝑙𝑢𝑒 - output voltage range deined by the user
𝑀𝑖𝑛/𝑀𝑎𝑥𝑅𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒 - input signal range deined by the user
5. MIN VOLTAGE - output voltage corresponding to 0% of the assigned source signal value
6. MAX. VOLTAGE - output voltage corresponding to 100% of the assigned source signal value
3.6.10 TREND
Setup menu →Trend
Description of behaviour of vacuum trend arrow on the main window.
Time - deines dynamics with which the trend symbol reacts to the changes of the signal. To
observe slow changes of signals, set longer time than for fast changes.
Percent Change - deines the percentage of the input signal changes, which affects the trend
visualisation symbol.
3.6.11 DEVICE SETTINGS
Setup menu →Device Settings
In the Device Settings submenu, the settings common for different types of devices with a touch
screen are available, however, they are not speciic for a particular model - in this case for the MG15.
3.6.11.1 COMMUNICATION SETTINGS - COMMUNICATION MENU
Setup menu →Device Settings →Communication
The communication menu is used to conigure the remote control interface. The MG15 is equipped
as a standard with two communication interfaces, which may be used independently at a time:
Interface 1 - Ethernet
Interface 2 - serial interface RS238 or RS485. Optionally, ProiNet
To change the Interface 1 parameters enter Setup menu →Device Settings →Communication
