7.10 Mixing with other repeaters
Normally it is advised not to mix regular repeaters because of the limitation in cascading that these repeaters
have (caused by the bit width alteration due to internal opto-couplers and digital electronics).
ComBricks regenerates the telegrams (same as a ProfiHub or B1 Repeater). This means there is just a small
delay time, but no limitations in cascading.
If you mix ComBricks with other repeaters you only have to follow the cascading rules of the other repeater
manufacturer. If the other repeaters are also from PROCENTEC, you can cascade and mix without problems.
Keep in mind that monitoring will fully work, but the SCOPE repeaters only measure the signals up to the first
repeater module.
