12.2 Visual inspection
Visually inspect the unit and cable assemblies for the following:
Device casing (not damaged or cracked)
LCD screen (not damaged or cracked)
Electrode cable sheathing and connectors (undamaged)
Mains cable sheathing and connectors (undamaged)
No kinks, abrasion or wear in any cable assembly.
Input/output connectors (undamaged).
In addition to the visual inspection, switch on the CT8000P-2, scroll through the menu
and test some sample functions. In this way, you can check that:
• the device performs faultlessly
• the display works
• the function keys and the keyboard work
Enter the results in the inspection report (see page 101, 12.7 Inspection Report).
Defective units or damaged cables must be replaced immediately.
