If the protection function is switched ON, the limit values have been exceeded, and the delay time elapsed,
tripping, trip log, and fault recording are initiated.
When set to Alarm Only, no trip command is given, no trip log is started, and no spontaneous fault indica-
tion is issued.
You can set the pickup thresholds of the two voltage elements at address 2251 47NPS-1 Pickup and 2254
47NPS-2 Pickup. No generally binding specifications can be given for the pickup values, because they
depend on the actual system configuration.
The associated dropout ratios are set at address 2252 47NPS-1 D.Ratio and address 2255 47NPS-2
D.Ratio.
You can specify the trip delay time for each element at address 2253 47NPS-1 Delay and address 2256
47NPS-2 Delay. Select the time setting so that permitted short-term voltage peaks caused by switching
operations do not initiate tripping, but stationary overvoltages are cleared in time.
