3.1 Introduction Purpose
SINAMICS Perfect Harmony™ GH180 medium voltage drives maintain a common control
system, the NXGPro+ control. This manual describes the NXGPro+ control system and the related
hardware and user interfaces. This manual covers the parameter assignment necessary for
operation and provides descriptions of speci󹪝c functions and advanced features that may be
required when operating the NXGPro+ control system.
The NXGPro+ Control Operating Manual is intended for use with SINAMICS Perfect Harmony™
GH180 medium voltage drives. This manual is intended for use by persons with a working
knowledge of the NXGPro+ control system. Speci󹪝c con󹪝gurations of the drive family are
described in more detail in the speci󹪝c Operating Instructions Manual pertaining to that
hardware con󹪝guration. In addition, for information relating to maintenance and trouble-
shooting of the NXGPro+ control system, refer to the drive-speci󹪝c Operating Instructions
Manual.
NXGPro+ Software Version
This manual applies to NXGPro+ software Version 8.0.0, which is compatible with NXGpro
software Version 6.4.1 or earlier.
