DO-xx* Terminal SOP Feedback Function Description
DO-13 J4-4, 5, 6 InternalDigitalOutput13 BreakerTrip Command to open (trip) pre-
charge supply breaker
M1 DOUT SIB 51, 53, 55 M1PermitClosed_I M1Close Permissive
(TIMV)
If this signal is de-energized, the
drive’s medium voltage will trip
immediately.
If the signal is not energized, it
will be an inhibit.
* DO-xx: Refer to specic drive wiring diagram for DO-xx designations
5.3.12 Dedicated I/O for Input Protection (IP)
The following are dedicated I/O for input protection usage. Any cell type may use these
dedicated I/O if parameter Dedicated Input Protect (7108) is set "ON". If set to "OFF" this
dedicated I/O will not function unless air-cooled 6SR4_0 cells or water-cooled 6SR32x cells are
used. These cells must use dedicated inputs and outputs for IP faults, which are on by default.
Turning parameter Dedicated Input Protect (7108) o will be overridden by the software code
and still be active (on).

pulse)
M1 DOUT SIB 51, 53, 55 M1PermitClosed_I M1Close Permissive
(TIMV)
If this signal is de-energized, the
drive’s medium voltage will trip
immediately.
If the signal is not energized, it
will be an inhibit.

Cell Types when Dedicated I/O is not used
For all cell types that do not have dedicated I/O assignments or if the user I/O board is not used,
(i.e. when using WAGO I/O), internal digital I/O must be mapped to SOP ags associated with the
function. The ags are entirely controlled via the SOP.
