9.6 ML Keypad
9.6.1 Multi-Language Keypad Support
Note
Multi-Language keypad is only available on NXGPro+ by the use of a passive adapter board
available from Siemens. (A5E51460683).
9.6.2 Manual Stop Key
The [MANUAL STOP] key is a programmable key located on the lower left side of the keypad.
In standard applications the [MANUAL STOP] key is programmed via the SOP to select stop mode
when the drive is under local control. Stop mode shuts down the drive in a controlled manner.

9.6.3 Manual Start Key
The [MANUAL START] key is a programmable key located below the [AUTOMATIC] key on the left
side of the keypad.
In standard applications the [MANUAL START] key is programmed via the SOP to start the drive
when under local control. The velocity command under local control is controlled by the up and
down arrows of the keypad.

9.6.4 ML Display (T76)
After power up or reset, the Siemens identi󹪝cation and software version number is displayed for
a few seconds. Afterwards, the meter display is shown by default. The default meter display is
the starting point of the menu system. This display remains active until keys are pressed.
