10.9 Multiple Con󹪝guration Files
The control allows for the use of up to eight separate con󹪝guration 󹪝les. This is to allow for use
of the drive with up to eight separate, non-identical motors. These 󹪝les contain most of the
parameters of the drive, all motor parameters and most loop tuning parameters are contained
in these 󹪝les.
To use multiple con󹪝guration 󹪝les, enable parameter Multiple con󹪝g 󹪝les (9185) in the SOP &
Serial Functions Menu. The default is o󹪜. The associated submenu is Setup SOP con󹪝g 󹪞ags
(9186) where slave 󹪝les can be created and assigned to the SOP variables via the menu items.

Addressing for information on creating and programming the slave 󹪝les.
Once the 󹪝les are created and enabled, they are selected via the eight SOP 󹪞ags
SOPConfigFile1_O to SOPConfigFile8_O in the logic of the SOP 󹪝le. Ensure that only one
valid 󹪞ag is set true at a time within the SOP.
CAUTION
Potential Drive Instability or Trip
Switching SOP 󹪞ags could cause drive instability and/or a trip.
Do not switch SOP 󹪞ags while the drive is running.
Since the con󹪝guration 󹪝les can also be changed via the menu, there is a potential con󹪞ict that
could arise between whether the menu or the SOP selected 󹪝le is to be used. If the menu is used
to override the SOP selection, then the menu selection becomes the active con󹪝guration. This
will remain in e󹪜ect until the SOP changes the con󹪝guration 󹪝le to be di󹪜erent from the menu
selection.
